Dunbar Armored Car Robbery Trial Ends in Hung Jury
Last week, a federal jury was discharged after explaining that they were unable to reach a unanimous verdict as to whether the Government had met their burden of proof in a case involving the armed robbery of a Dunbar armored car. Judge Duffey discharged the jury and declared a mistrial. The case is scheduled to be retried in several weeks.

Sentencing Commission Data Reveals Trend in Child Porn Sentencing
Sentencing Commission data reveals that judges impose below-Guidelines sentences in roughly 51% of sentences in the Eleventh Circuit and nationwide for child pornography offenses. The average variance is approximately 40% below the advisory Guideline range. See the link below to access the Commission's data tables.
